Traditional Sud Italia Ancestral Skills
October 10-19, 2024
We invite you to join us for this unique journey - immersing ourselves in Old World skills and traditional ways. We're going to mix it up on this journey, spend most of our time right in our valley, on our sacred mountain and in our local hill top villages learning skills with the local people...such as making a variety of hand made pastas entirely from scratch, perhaps watch mozzarella cheese be formed and Italian sausage prepared before our eyes by artisans who have been doing these things for generations. We're going to weave an artifact with natural materials gathered from our travels, make plant medicine, experience and learn traditional songs and music and participate in a traditional Sud Italia healing ritual as well....We'll visit some incredible archaeological sites, spend a day exploring the Sassi in Matera, the oldest village in all of Italy constructed entirely of caves and inhabited for 10,000 years, pay homage to a few of our most powerful and magical thurmaturgic deities and explore the first medicinal herb garden in all of Europe overlooking the bay of Salerno.
Total Cost: $5,989
Fee includes: Your flight from Boston to Naples and back again, car pick up in Naples and return to the airport from our village, all transportation during the journey, your housing, breakfast and dinner.
Non-Refundable Deposit: $500
The remainder of $5,489 is due by July 15, 2024 and is best sent by check made out to Gail Faith Edwards. If you use a card or PayPal to submit your fee please to add an additional $150 to cover PayPal/credit card fees.
Tour cancellation policy: All deposits are non-refundable. If you cancel at any time after paying your tour fee in full, you will be charged a $100 cancellation fee. If you cancel within 60 days of the tour start date you will be refunded half your payment. If you cancel within 30 days of the tour start date you will forfeit your payment.
